Refund Policy
14 days, no questions asked.
Before you buy
You do not have to buy to find out whether it works. The free edition opens any file of any size with no time limit, and the 7 day trial turns on every paid feature, once per computer, free. We would rather you tried it on your own worst file than bought it and asked for the money back.
Asking for a refund
Write to support@bigxl.app within 14 days of your purchase, from the address you bought with, or use the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt. You do not have to give a reason.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, processes it, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
Your licence key stops being supported when the refund is issued, and we ask that you stop using the paid features.
Renewals
An annual licence is charged again on its anniversary. We email before it renews. Cancel any time before that date and you are not charged. If a renewal catches you by surprise, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it.
Where this does not apply
Bought through an app store. Purchases made inside the Apple App Store or the Microsoft Store are refunded by that store under its own policy, because that is who took your money. We cannot refund them and neither can Lemon Squeezy.
Abuse. We may decline a refund where a licence has been shared, resold, or used on machines it was not issued for, and where somebody has bought and refunded repeatedly.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the UK, the EU or another place with a statutory cooling off period, this policy is in addition to that right and does not replace it.
